TAKE ME TO THE OTHER SIDE

STRAIGHT WAY OR SIDEWAYS, THAT IS THE QUESTION

Connection is very much essential nowadays with the world spinning ever faster and as a visitor in Croatia you can choose among different means of transport based on their availability at certain moments and personal preferences.

We in kO are well-connected and can find you a way to get from point A to B/C and on to other letters whether you need to travel by land or sea from say, Hvar to Vis or Split to Lastovo and so on.

Other criteria for your transfer is speed – it can be of great value to get as fast as possible from Dubrovnik to Korcula if that’s your goal thus sparing precious moments to enjoy the island better.

On the other hand you can turn that “zero“ day into something else and shift into a lower gear with a couple of stops in between A and B that will turn that day into an ultimate slow travel experience which will leave you richer for, let’s see, why not some fresh oysters and supreme red and white wines right there where they are knowledgeably grown and produced as far back as anyone can remember.

Or, when the time is right, you are on one island and you’ve heard there’s a great beach, restaurant, festival or concert on another one and the public connections are missing or the last ferry is just when the party is about to take off – perhaps in those situations we can work it out for you…

A STAY WITH STYLE

In Croatian language the word island has a masculine gender and in fact so do the names of most of Croatian islands. As always there are exceptions to every tradition and Korcula is not just one of them but by far the most famous Croatian island of a feminine gender. Mysterious and exotic, strong and mild, ancient and fresh at the same time, she was known in the long-gone days of the Greeks presence as Korkyra Melaina (Black Korcula). Some legends as well as few facts allow she might have seduced a trojan hero Antenor to drop anchor and found a setlement exactly where today the old town of Korcula still proudly stands. Or when the sorceress Circe enchanted Odysseys to stay for a year in Lumbarda area. It’s not impossible that Marco Polo was born here but we know that this is where he was captured. The rest is history.

Some of the nicest villas to stay on Korcula are pure magic be it for the sake of luxury, architecture, location, view, the closeness of a beach or the remoteness of everything else. They are sometimes in the center of a town or you need to drive some off road to get there. Their size, appearance as well as price range vary but one thing they all have in common – they stand out.

Let us know if you’re looking for such alluring place and hopefully we’ll provide you with more reasons to come here and stay for a while.
